A novel Au/grpahene material as a catalyst for reduction of 4-nitrophenol has been studied in this article. Firstly, the aniline oligomer was been synthesized and used as a surfactant to modify graphene by π-π interaction. The amine group on the graphen will be absorbed gold nanoparticles to form a new catalyst. The uniform size distribution of Au nanoparticles, and the electron transfer from graphene to Au makes the novel Au/graphene as an efficient and reusable catalyst in the reduction of nitroaromatic compounds,it was demonstrated that Au /Oligoaniline /GO as a catalyst has excellent performance and stability for reduction 4-Nitrophenol(4-NP) to 4-Aminophenol(4-AP) within 3 minutes.
