Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 資源工程學系 === 104 === The vast majority of landslides in Taiwan were triggered by rainfall-induced and earthquake-induced. There is no doubt that landslides can cause human casualties, loss of life and economic devastation. The aim of this study was to set up the slope model of stability analyses for the Woo-Wan-Chai landslide area, in mid-western Taiwan, wich exhibits high landsilids risk with rainfall-induced and earthquake-induced of slope and therefore represents a potential threat for the adjacent 18 Province Road. Geo-studio software, which is the most sophisticated stability analysis of slope modeling tool available today, was used to numerically model rainfall infiltration and pseudo-static seismic analysis. In the numerical domain, the topographic map of study area was divided into 10 partial zones, and each slope (N1 to N10) was located at different zones. These partial zones can be adjusted their recharge and earthquake intensity for simulation work. An automated time-series procedure was developed to estimate groundwater recharge from the groundwater table and rainfall data. The predicting results showed that the changes in factor of safety during rainfall were not affected significantly by the groundwater table near the ground surface due to the relatively small changes in matric suction during rainfall. Numerical analyses of an actual residual soil slope from the Woo-Wan-Chai landslide area at 18 Province Road show good agreement with the trends observed in the parametric studies.
