Taiwan’s electronics manufacturing is in a dilemma due to fierce competition and challenge of low-margin. Under the impact of red supply chain and GDP value less than 1%, how can we respond or make a breakthrough to survive? And how can we enhance the business performance and growth enterprises? We investigate the cause of ODM/OEM transformation, decision process and strategy, expecting to find a transformation strategy and action plan for this case study of company A. By conducting interview with experienced executives from multiple cases and exploring the issues on transformation strategy, business model, strategic action, internal and external resource integration. This study discovers the specific strategic action including the coexistence between manufacturers and brand owners to avoid conflicts of interest, creating the product and technical advantage, enhancing the trust and dependency relying on manufacturers, and integration through strategic alliance or M&A. Finally, the finding of transformation is about the choice of resource pathway for this case of company A.
