There are three types long term care services in Taiwan, including home long term care, living service long term care and daily long term care by using qualitative multiple case study. Through exploration, this research finds the differentiation and between three types of long term care service in Taiwan. Therefore, this research tries to use types of long-linked, intensive and mediating technologies from Thompson (1967) and value configuration from Stabell and Fjeldstad (1998) which are less applied in long term care study to analyze how the long term care service owner create value by their management and primary activity categories. The research results imply that to classify three types long term care service by value configuration from Stabell and Fjeldstad (1998). To conclude that value shop analysis in all types of long term care services which have new cases. However, based on the primary activity of typology, the value network model is suitable for home long term care; the value shop model is suitable for living service long term care and the value chain model is suitable for daily long term care. It is important for people who are engaged in long term care industry to induct and have value creation concept.
