碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 國際企業學系 === 104 === Abstract This research is about solar industry in small developing countries: Taiwan. This research is based on data about 13 Taiwan Solar companies and its subsidiaries 126, and the time cross from 1999 to 2014. Due to the domestic market is not large enough that the companies not only build system side, but also look for other overseas markets. Mentioned in the literature review, the born-global companies are major in knowledge-intensive industries, especially the development small countries, so to discuss the international entry mode of solar industry in Taiwan, in a more accurate analysis way, we can found that some companies follow the traditional gradual approach to internationalization, while others are born-global companies which our research looking for.
