Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 光電工程研究所 === 104 === Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a common chronic condition characterized by persistent, widespread musculoskeletal pain and diffuse tenderness at multiple tender points. According to statistics, approximately every one hundred adults, there were two patients with fibromyalgia, a slightly higher incidence of women than men. Some researches found that patients with fibromyalgia brain structure and neural networks may be altered by the persistent pain and relationship between prefrontal and temporal lobe may be a target differentiate from the neurologic disorders. This thesis of the purpose is measuring prefrontal blood oxygen signal representative of whether there would be differences in vascular reactivity by NIRS performing breathe-holding task between patients onset fibromyalgia and healthy controls, and confirmed the differences in skeletal muscle recovery responses between two groups. We hope to provide doctors more accurate statistics and interpretation in diagnosis.
