Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院高階主管管理碩士學程 === 104 === The purpose of this thesis is to study a new business model for energy service providers at power market. Taiwan government announced that all the nuclear power plants will turn off and the renewable energy generations would reach 20% by 2025. This is a challenging target for Taiwan power grid. To achieve this target requires, creative technologies and new business models to overcome the uncertainty of the power supply from renewable energy generations. In this thesis, first, the status of demand side electricity liberalization in major countries are studied. Second, the demand side demand response result of Taiwan is evaluated. Finally, a sharing economy model is proposed as the concept framework to derive the virtual power plant (VPP) service as power system ancillary service for system balancing and peak load reducing. The related technologies and the business model of VPP are explored and discussed in the thesis respectively.
