Description
Summary:博士 === 國立中央大學 === 企業管理學系 === 104 === Sustainable development has become major component behind many types of corporate and governmental policies. One component related to this issue, transportation services, and impacts has a far-reaching impact. This research is aimed at individually studying the airline industry and alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs). Sustainability assessment guidelines will be created. Evaluations will be conducted through interviews with experts. Through using the DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) method, the research will focus on how the airline industry is interrelated with sustainable development. Meanwhile, the interviews with experts will also reveal the true nature of the airline industry’s social responsibility. For AFVs, the purpose of the present research is to find out the importance of assessment guidelines of various types of vehicles. Therefore, through the DANP (DEMATEL-based ANP) method, the influential weights of evaluation criteria will be identified. The results show that there are technical limitations for either the airline industry or AFVs. In the airline industry, alternative fuels and noise are technical limitations that cannot be easily resolved. When the airlines employ the strategy of corporate social responsibility (CSR), they should first focus on corporate governance, deciding ideal CSR approaches and visions and improving inter-department communication. After analyzing AFVs and considering the sources of local energy, some types of alternative fuel vehicles currently available are not ideal choices. In the future, a variety of AFVs should be studied and assessed for their life cycle in order to further explore the level of their financial support and to identify the best sustainable fuel vehicles.
