A Study on Influence Factors Affecting Program Selection among Comprehensive High School Students under the 12-year Basic Education Program-A Case of Yunlin and Chiayi Area

碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 104 === The study aimed to investigate the factors that probably influenced comprehensive high school students on their program selections and to further analyze the differences of factors that influenced students’ program selections in terms of students’ different background variables. A questionnaire investigation was conducted and the samples were freshmen in comprehensive high schools in Yunlin and Chiayi Area under the 12-year basic education program of the 2014 academic year. Six comprehensive high schools were sampled based on stratified cluster sampling. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed and 419 valid questionnaires were retrieved with a return rate of 83.8%. The data were collected and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffé method. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1. In terms of program selection, “family factor” had the most significant impact on students. 2. In terms of female students in comprehensive high schools, “personal factor” had a higher impact on their program selection. 3. In terms of female students in comprehensive high schools and the students in large-scale comprehensive high schools, “family factor” had a higher impact on their program selection. 4. In terms of students in large-scale comprehensive high schools, “vocational exploration factor” had a higher impact on their program selection.
