Reacting of 1 equiv of AlH2Cl‧NMe2Et with 1 equiv of [OHCMeCHCMeNCH2Ph] (L2) generates aluminum complex {Al[OCCH3CHCCH3NCH2(C6H5)]2Cl} (4). Treatment of 1 equiv of AlH2Cl‧NMe2Et with 1 equiv of [OHCMeCHCMeNMes] (L3) generates aluminum complex {Al[OCCH3CHCCH3NCH2(C6H2-2,4,6-Me3)]2Cl} (5). Reacting of 1 equiv of AlH2Cl‧NMe2Et with 1 equiv of [C4H3N-(2-CH=N(C6H3-(2,6-iPr2))] (L4) generates aluminum complex {Al[OCHMeCHCMeNH(C6H5-(2,6-iPr2))]2Cl} (6).Use of 1 equiv of AlH2Cl‧NMe2Et with 1 equiv of [OCCH3CHCCH3NCH2(C6H4-tBu)] (L5) generates aluminum complex {Al[OCCH3CHCCH3NCH2(C6H4-tBu)]2Cl} (7). Reaction of 1 equiv of GaCl3 with 2 equiv of (L1) generates gallium complex {Ga[C4H3N(2-(CH=NCH2-Ar))]3} (8). Treatment of 1 equiv of InCl3 with 2 equivs of (L1) generates indium complex {In[C4H3N(2-(CH=NCH2-Ar))]3} (9). Reaction of 1 equiv of GaCl3 with 2 equivs of [C4H3N-(2-CH=N(C6H3-(2,6-iPr2))] (L4) generates gallium complex {Ga[C4H3N-(2-CH=N(C6H3-(2,6-iPr2)))]2Cl)} (10). Treatment of 1 equiv of In(NEt2)3 with 2 equivs of (L4) generates indium complex {In[C4H3N-(2-CH=N(C6H3-(2,6-iPr2)))]2(NEt2)} (11). Reacting 1 eqiv of ZnMe2 with 2 equivs of (L1) generates zinc complex {Zn[C4H3N(2-(CH=NCH2-Ar))]2} (12). All the aforementioned complexes have been characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and have been determined by single X-Ray diffractometry in solid state (except 1 and 9).
