Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 輔導與諮商學系所 === 104 === The main purpose of this research is to plan and implement the Life-and-death education program suitable for students at senior high schools as well as exploring the effects of such program on the meanings of life and death anxiety of the students at senior high schools. Based on the results of the research, concrete suggestions are presented as a reference of developing life-and-death programs in senior high schools in Taiwan. This research focuses on 6 classes with 302 first-year students, at a central Taiwan private senior high school, in the school year of 2014-2015. They were divided into one experimental group with 151 students, and one comparable group with 151 students for this research. The quasi-experimental research design was adopted. The researcher in person taught the life-and-death program one session every week to the students of the experimental group for 10 weeks; however, the students of the comparable group did not receive any of such instructions. Independent samples were analyzed by ANCOVA. A life meaning scale and a death anxiety scale were used to measure the data before and after the experiment, and the scores on the scales of the students were regarded as dependent variables for measurement and analysis. Besides, the researcher used Unit Feedback Sheet, Program Feedback Form as assistant tools to evaluate the performance of implementing the life-and-death program. Results of the research are concluded as follows: 1. According to the contents of Unit Feedback Sheet and Program Feedback Form responded by the students in the experimental group, the life-and-death education curriculum is suitable for senior high school students. 2. The established teaching objectives of the life-and-death program can be achieved. 3. The most popular teaching methods of the life-and-death program with senior high school students are in order, film watching, experience activities and didactic instruction. 4. Units that make part of the students frightened in the life-and-death program include “To uncover the veil of the death”, “Loss of life experience and “Make a Will in Advance”. 5. The life-and-death program imposes positive impact upon students at senior high school towards the meanings of life. 6. The life-and-death program helps senior high school students reduce their anxiety about death positively. Finally, specific suggestions schools, educators of life-and-death education and research for the future are proposed for the reference of workers planning for and advocating life-and-death education as well as researchers.
