Culture and creative industries parks serve as the platform for the development of knowledge-based economy, Taiwan set up five parks following Challenge 2008: National Development Plan in 2002. Among them, Taichung Cultural & Creative Industries Park was named Taiwan Architecture, Design, and Art Center (TADA Center), which became an interdisciplinary knowledge exchange platform as well as the most forward-looking creative center. The present study explored the realization of the positions and functions of Taichung Cultural & Creative Industries Park through comparing the real experiences of visitors with the motivations and experiences reported in previous studies. The functions and positions visitors experienced in the park were discussed to to provide data for the operation authority, relevant workers, and further studies. The present study was implemented in Taichung Cultural & Creative Industries Park; 300 questionnaires were distributed to collect data from visitors. Interviews with seven visitors who visited the park more than once in three months were done to explore their motivation and experience. The findings were: A. Most visitors retrieved the information of the Park through their relatives and friends, and preferred to visit the central plaza in the park including its outdoor area. B. The visitors’ motivation was to relax in the stress-free and comfortable environment in the park, and they experienced entertainments. This fitted the position of the park to provide a comfortable leisure space for the public in their daily life as well as exhibition space for arts. C. Visitors with higher motivations and more experiences in relaxation, entertainment, innovation, and resting were more satisfied with stores in the park than those who had other motivations and experiences. D. The visitors’ motivation and experience had positive correlation. 李靜芳 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 180 zh-TW
