Through the difference found in implementation and self-assessment, expecting to find the most apposite recommendation as reference when implementing marine education policies in elementary school. The survey is done by questionnaire, and sampling from elementary school teachers in the Tainan City sampling from 410 teachers in total. 352 questionnaires are available with 87% of response rate. The questionnaires are analyzed and processed by descriptive statistics, T-test, ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and Multiple Regression Analysis. According to the results and findings, the outcomes are listed as follows: 1.The Tainan City elementary school teachers' level of consciousness towards marine education policy implementation self-assessment is above average, and performs best in “implementation curriculum”. 2.The Tainan City elementary school teachers' level of consciousness towards marine education policy implementation self-assessment is average, and performs best in “effectiveness of implementation”. 3.Regarding from the background variables, the Tainan City elementary school teachers’ level of consciousness towards marine education policy implementation and self-assessment will be affected by factors such as school scale, school location, and marine education related projects applied or not. 4.Regarding from the background variables, the Tainan City elementary school level of consciousness towards marine education policy implementation and self-assessment will not be affected by factors such as gender, age, years of Service, educational background, and different administrative positions. 5.The Tainan City elementary school teachers' marine education policy implementation is effective towards level of consciousness towards marine education policy implementation self-assessment.
