Fishmeal is generally apply to animal protein feed in livestock and aquaculture. Due to human population growing and overfishing which were caused a shortage of the capture, the price of fish meal continue to arise in recent years. When the price of fish meal arised, it will affects the cost of livestock and aquaculture. As one of the issues to found cheaper alternative feed ingredients to replace fish meal is important. The study object was conducted to investigate the effect of golden apple snail(Pomacea canaliculata) meal as a feed protein source to replace fish meal on growth performance and haematological parameters of broilers. Experiment 1 was conducted to nutritional composition of golden apple snail meal which remove shell and dried at 45℃and compared to red fish meal composition. Experiment 2 was conducted to investigate the effect of golden apple snail meal as a feed protein source to replace fish meal on growing performance and haematological parameters of broilers. The results showed that nutritional composition of Golden apple snail meal had 60% of protein content and 3700 kcal/ kg of GE. The experiment 2results showed that the body weight gain was significantly higher in fish group than apple snail meal replace 100% fish meal group (P <0.05). The feed intake of broilers, the fish meal group is the best one, the second was the apple snail meal replace 25% of fish meals, but the groups were no significant differences among treatment.
