碩士 === 南榮科技大學 === 工程科技研究所碩士班 === 104 === With the ongoing growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), comes the arrival of Smartphone Age. To support the ongoing growth of ICT technology, the government even took forward the ideas of smart living as starting points, to create Taiwan’s new Network of Smart Communities, and made use of smart network technologies in response to the needs of people for living. The Moon Port region of Yanshui District, reputed for its shape of the land and its well-known port, is one of the oldest towns in Taiwan. The regeneration project for the retro glamour of Moon Port has changed and evolved Yanshui. The project itself has even received a bronze medal from International Livable Communities for Environmentally Sustainable Project. Yanshui has kept many cultural living arrangements, traditional buildings, as well as multicultural believes, plus Moon Festival Beehive Rocket Fireworks Culture etc., in the development of history in Taiwan, portraying Yanshui as a Museum of Community History overall. Through the use of digital multimedia technologies with handheld mobile phones’ Global Positing System and interactive Augmented Reality technology, this paper integrates the creation of site maps with Smartphone application, and in turn, realizes the Smartphone Age visions. As a whole, this paper collects and value adds the various cultures in Yanshui, creating e-books, video recordings, of local cultural aspects in Yanshui, and integrating Smartphone application, to create a “Play in Yanshui” smart tour map, as well as combining the Global Positing System on handheld phones, to deeply experience the daily cultural living arrangements in the old Southern Bridge Street of Moon Port, the traditional Octagon Building, the multicultural believes of the Catholic Church, plus visits to the newly refurbished water park in Moon Port. Simultaneously, via the “Experience of Beehive Rocket Fireworks Culture in Depth,” encounter the Beehive Rocket Fireworks Culture at Yanshui during Moon Festival, and then explore the aspects of Beehive Rocket Fireworks Culture throughout the year. After that, stop by to admire the Beehive Rocket architecture and its glory. Then afterward, go deeper into experiencing and understanding the marquise and its origin, along with the Martial God Temple. Furthermore, with the use of the marquise as a landmark for the Martial God Temple and as a symbol of spiritual growth, this paper has created a “Yanshui Martial God Temple Marquise Blessing” postcard from Smart Kiosk Technology and Augmented Reality, a mix between real world object and the virtual reality scene. By using the postcard for picture taking with the marquise, the outcome captures a strong sense of blessing appearing. With the outcome being posted and shared on social networks in that instance, the vision set out for the wireless information age “Where Everyone Could Enjoy the Attentive Service Offered Anytime, Anywhere, via the Use of Smart Terminal Device” is realized.
