Due to neighboring metropolitan area, doubling over the past decade the number of tourism, land use intensity increased completion. Increasing of the buildings will force the plant groth and agricultural ecosystems.
Studies on landscape changes mostly basw on landscape ecology theory, combined with remote sensing and geographic information system technology for data collection and analysis.
In this study, open downloaded MODIS satellite image and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) operation, and the Green Cover Ratio, be analyzed and discussed from 2006 to 2015. NDVI in the overall analysis of the Hengchun Peninsula, analyzed various dry and wet season image, found that the rainfall factors would make significant influence.
The Green cover ratio at Hengchun Peninsula 2006~2015 is maintained at between 93% to 94%. Township and village administrative level, the green cover rate decline trend in the town of Hengchun, Checheng and Manzhou. The low population and industrial development at Shizi Twonship make stable growth.
After shaping the landscape in the process of economic development and ecological conservation, the management planners must advance the overall understanding of the process of land use change, through the surface landscape clarify the structure and function of the landscape, establishing the value of the pursuit of desire, set a more suitable program.
