Selecting three key participants from graduates of F vocational high school who had been employed at their internship workplaces by purposive sampling, the researcher conducted semi-structured and individual interviews with key participants, their significant supporters from family (parents), school (vocational counselors or internship advisors) and workplaces (employers or supervisor). Unobtrusive measures were also used to ensure the data triangulation approach. A total of 12 interviews were collected. The major findings of this study are: (1) Possessing good job skills, work attitude and interpersonal interactions is helpful for graduates to get employed by internship workplaces; (2) Active involvement of school courses and activities promotes graduates’ adjustment to workplaces, meanwhile, individualized transition plan (ITP) can enhance the team-bonding of relevant personnels; (3) The more support the team supplies, the better the graduates’ employment readiness is and the more hiring intention the employer has, and (4) The employed experience at internship workplaces can promote the graduates’ confidence, therefore, it is worthy to assist students to find suitable internship workplaces via diversity job try-outs. Based on the above findings, recommendations for practitioners and policy-makers are addressed, as well as research limitations and suggestions for future research.
