Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 教育學系碩士班 === 104 === The interaction between intern teachers and the mentors is very frequent during the internship; therefore, the internship will become a happy and successful experience if the mentors are dedicated to guide the intern teachers, and the interns are willing to be coached. The goal of this paper is to present the interaction between a mentor and intern teachers, teaching strategy adoption, practical experience transfer, and reflection in the author’s half-year period of being a mentor. In addition, the paper hopes to provide examples of on-site preschool internship, experience transfer, interaction through narration and reflection of incidents. Besides, this paper hopes to help intern teachers advance in teaching through discussing how a mentor interacts with intern teachers with different strategies. Based on qualitative analysis and interviews, this research hopes to reach the purpose through in-depth interviews with document analysis.
Through story narration and analysis, this paper reaches the conclusions as follows:
1. It shows a significant correlation between mentoring relationship and the result of internship
2. How mentoring relationship influences intern teachers are as follows:
a. The influence on the profession of teaching
b. The influence on societal development
c. The influence on advancement in career of teaching
Finally, this paper provides some suggestions future work according to the conclusions.
