Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 生態休閒教育教學碩士學位學程 === 104 === The purpose of this research was to understand the current mountaineering activities of middle-aged and elderly-aged mountaineers, as well as to explore the relationship between the motivation and benefit of this leisure activity. The method of this study used in this paper is a questionnaire survey based on "leisure motivation scale" and "leisure benefit scale". Among the 450 questionnaires that were distributed to the elderly-aged mountaineers at Mt. Li-Ding, Mt. Peng-Ji, and Mt. Li-Long in Pingtung County, 423 valid questionnaires were returned. SPSS 17.0 for Windows was used to analyze the questionnaire data along with descriptive statistics, single factor multivariate analysis (one-way MANOVA), Scheffe method, Pearson product-moment correlation, and other statistical methods of data processing and analysis. The result is concluded into the following five points: 1. Both the motivation and benefit of the targeted participates of this survey reach the upper levels. 2. Different ages and participation frequencies of mountaineers have significant differences in the participation motivation. Different genders of mountaineers have significant differences in the leisure benefits. 3. The factors of gender, education, marital status, occupation, and partners have no significant effect on the participation motivation. The factors of Age, education, marital status, occupation, and partners have no significant effect on the leisure benefit either. 4. The "natural experience" of the participation motivation in 45-50-year-old mountaineers is greater than the 56-60-year-old mountaineers. The "natural experience" of the participation motivation in 0-1 time a week mountaineers is higher than 2-3 times a week mountaineers. The "physiological benefits" in male mountaineers are better than women mountaineers. 5. The participation motivation and leisure benefit in the middle age and elderly age mountaineers have significant positive correlation, meaning that the stronger motivation to participate in mountaineering, get higher benefits.
