| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 景觀暨遊憩管理研究所 === 104 === Due to the development of trade liberalization and social changes, there is no more advantage of agriculture. Most of rural villages are suffering a steady outflow of people and reduced competitiveness. To this end, the government set a law called Rural Regeneration Act promoted by Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan to facilitate the rural sustainability and rejuvenation, to improve living and farming conditions, to conserve rural ecology and culture, to upgrade quality of life in rural area. In recent years, rural industry has no longer to be defined as a primary industry, but developed to secondary and tertiary industry. Rural residents have started paying attention to local industry, and setting up Agricultural Production and Marketing Group, Production Cooperative and Community Development Association spontaneously. With the scholars and experts counseling, government’s funding and technical assistance, rural residents not only have realized the importance and existence value of rural village, but also enhanced the residents' sense of responsibility and solidarity.
Rural communities have a great industrial diversities, each rural community has different development issues. Therefore, the focus of the community's industrial revitalization is necessary to consider what community residents can benefit more from core industries. Including the capacity and industry positioning of community, is a traditional type, or a type of community environment experience. And we should consider the benefit of rural industry belongs to individual households or community organizations. It must also be considered will it cause a negative impact on the environment when implementing industrial revitalization. Finally, we need to understand the stage of community product life cycle.
This research select Wanjin Community which has a hundred years history catholic church as a target subjects. Review related literature of rural regeneration, Manpower Training Program, industrial revitalization. Propose five facets including innovation, local power, economic benefits, environmental benefits and social life benefits, to assess and analyze the acceptance of rural regeneration and industrial revitalization by adopting interviews and questionnaires as research methods.
The result of this research shows that self-awareness and cohesion of Wanjin Community have been improved significantly after carried out Rural Regeneration Plan. The community has developed a distinctive place in the community industry on the basis of life, production, ecology and unique religious culture. Based on the five facets analysis, Wanjin community most in need is innovation and economic aspects. In addition to Christmas Festival, it is recommended to find something have continuity of features to attract tourists, and combined the surrounding Wangluan pork knuckles, Linhousilin forest park and indigenous villages along the mountain road into a series travel axis. The end of this research came to a conclusion of industry improvement strategy and future direction of Wanjin Community, also proposed recommendations to the government departments, communities and follow-up study for reference.
