Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 休閒運動健康系所 === 104 === Purpose: The purpose of this study was to design an adventure education program and explored the effects of this adventure education program on internet-addicted junior high school students’ self-concept, social interest, life-effectiveness and internet addiction. This program included portable adventure activities, orienteering, high and low ropes courses, hiking and cycling. Methods: Forty nine junior high school students with internet addiction were recruited in this study. Participants were divided into the experiment group (twenty students) and the control group (twenty-nine students). All of them are never involved in similar program. The experiment group participate the adventure education program while the control group without. Both of them were tested with scales of self-concept, social interest, life-effectiveness and Chen internet addiction scale (CIAS). The two groups were both tested before program, after program and after three months. Paired t test in SPSS 18.0 for Windows was used for data analysis to compare the difference of self-concept, social interest, life-effectiveness and internet addiction. Result: The results showed after the program, experiment group students’ self-concept, social interest, life-effectiveness and internet addiction were improved significantly, and reached significant levels. Control group were no significant difference. Conclusion: This adventure education program designed for experiment group in this study had a positive effect on self-concept, social interest, life-effectiveness and internet addiction. At the end of this study, also put forward suggestions for future research.
