| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 農企業管理系所 === 104 === PateRungan is a tribe located in Xinshe Village, Hualien. It is a place of the best-reserved place of the Kavalan culture, such as Kavalan, banana silk weaving, traditional songs and rituals.
Culture is life, to combine the Kavalan culture with the tourism industry can not only pass down the traditional cultures, but also increase the income for its people. How to promote the tourism industry and pass the culture to the next generation is the main propose for this research.
In this research, we used the semi-structured interviews and self-experiences to explore the way of the tribal tourism and cultural heritage. According to the related research and interview, the result of exploring the pros and cons inside the tribe, the chances and threats from outside the tribe, and the combination with the existing sources to come up with an exclusive mode of its own culture tourism.
The conclusion from this research is how to initiatively pass down the Kavalan culture, to reserve the human custom of PateRungan, to promote the PateRungan’s industry, and to plan the tourism program of PateRungan where integrate the human resource of PateRungan. We hoped that the research could provide some suggestion for the preservation of cultural heritage and tourism industry to the PateRungan Community Development Association.
