In this research, the study focuses on characteristics of bloch surface wave. First, the method for the computation of bloch surface wave is used to compute the dispersion curves of bloch surface wave on the interfaces between the different homogeneous medium and one-dimenphotonic crystal substrate which we used. Then, we produced the nano gratings on the one-dimensional photonic crystal substrate was used to couple bloch surface wave, we deposited a layer of fluorescent dye on the sample that is convenient to observed the bloch surface wave could be couple or un-couple and the wave path that was on gratings and circles.
