The experimental group attended a 90-minute mindfulness-based intervention program per week for six weeks while the control group was provided with stress management handout (CD). The Wilcoxon-Mann-Whiney test was performed to interpret whether the differences between the scores of two groups significant. Finally, researcher collected qualitative data such as unit feedback sheets, homework records, group reflections records and individual interviews that were collected from experimental group members for reference. The results indicated that after attending mindfulness-based intervention program the group, experimental participants not only reduced their depression immediately and state anxiety but also got persistent assistance by practicing mindfulness. However, the experimental participants didn’t reduce parenting stress, anxiety and the depression immediately without practicing mindfulness.
