碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 語文教育學系碩博士班 === 104 === The purpose of this thesis is to study the edition of Hakka textbook , according to the First Book to Book Five of the Hakka Reader – edited by Tongluo Elementary School. By the literature research and content analysis , the researcher analyzes the Hakka lexicon and compare it with the first 700 words in “Hakka Word Frequency Study in Kaohsiung and Pingtung”by Dr. Chiang , expecting to find out the relative words and the rate of the high-frequency words. The results are as the followings: 1. Lexicon volume analysis : In First Book , the word volume is 611 , the entry volume is 371 , the high-frequency word volume is 144 ; (878,492,162) in Book One;(2441,1118,227) in Book Two; (3220,1642,227) in Book Three;(3957,1803, 269) in Book Four. 2. Among 2612 Hakka lexicons analyzed , except repeated words , there are 340 words that fit the first 700 words in “Hakka Word Frequency Study in Kaohsiung and Pingtung”by Dr. Chiang. 3. The rate of high-frequency words in First Book is 38.8% , 32.9% in Book One , 20.3 % in Book Two , 13.8% in Book Three , 14.9% in Book Four ; highest in First Book , lowest in Book Three. The rate declines from junior to senior.
