Finally, the students’correct rate of fraction addition and subtraction operations in the different denominator (non-prime) is sixty-five percent.We get that Tainan City sixth grade students need to be strengthened when fraction addition and subtraction operations in the different denominator (non-prime). 2.The performance of fraction addition and subtraction operations in the same denominator for students of different genders:the performances for students of different genders were significant in this types of operations,the girls performed significantly better than the boys. III 3.The performance of fraction addition and subtraction operation in different denominator (coprime) for students of different genters:the performances for students of different genders were no significant in this types of operations. 4.The performance of fraction addition and subtraction operations in different denominator (non-prime) for students of different genders:the performances for students of different genders were no significant in this types of operations.
