Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 國語文學系中國文學碩士在職專班 === 104 === From 1920 to 1929 is intensive period of Liang Qichao’s Buddhist writings. He disclose his views on Buddhism in his other writings, although often, but mainly mature period should be at this time in his later years. The main purpose of this thesis is to understand the presence of rational and pluralistic of his Buddhist thought. That thought be called Applied Buddhism , it can make human batter and conform Buddhist Wisdom. From his views ,we also can understand what can be applied secular. Another part is to research the Buddhist psychology and modern psychology what the same archetype is confirmed in Liang Qichao’s Buddhist books and papers. The data souce of Buddhist writings is referenced in his later years. The paper want to do a deconstructive analysis by the 1920 ~ 1929 Liang’s thought ,and try to analysis his views of psychological tendency in his Buddhist thought. An additional,the paper will comments on a comparison of Buddhist thought between the modern Buddhist scholar and Liang Qichao thoughts to learn about opposing ideas and integration. According to the discussion of this paper we will find the difference between the other scholar who engaged in academic writings on Buddhism and Liang Qichao thoughts . The results of this paper we will understand Liang Qichao’s thought evolution and events on Buddhist thought, and found out that he was convinced about the existence of cause and effect and Karma. He believe this kind of thought is based on a scientific attitude. His action revealed the concept of Anattan when he went donate his body for medical reference. So his activities demonstrated the spirit of Buddhism.
