One of the function of science report is to lead the public attention on this global warming issue. This research is not only aimed to examine from the perspective of communication how the media report global warming issues and the form of the science news, but also to discuss the non-science college students’ interaction and reflective thinking for global warming news. We expect that the science news report can be a two-way communication. This study is a qualitative research, conducted using textual analysis to collect and analysis 102 news papers from “PanSci” and “Taiwan Environmental Information Center” and using semi-structured interview to collect and analysis the 16 non-science college students’ who studied at Taipei city and New Taipei city. The results are as followed: The form of global warming news: (1) Most of science news coverage are “No text and Diagrams”; (2) Most type of science news coverage are “Extract”. The perspective of communication: (1) Most of news topic are “Science influence scope”; (2) Most of sources of report are “Experts in the field of science”; (3) Most of report attitude are “Neutral”. The non-science college students’ interaction with global warming news including these reasons, non-science college students’ cognition: (1) Too professional scientific terms; (2) News of their length; (3) Disagree news topics; (4) Disagree with the content of news stories; (5) News content is not detailed enough. Non-science college students’ attitude: (1) Trust; (2) Suspicion; (3) Mistrust; (4) Neutral; (5) No idea. And non-science college students’ willing to share news: (1) Sharing new knowledge; (2) Science issues related to the life; Reluctant to share news: (1) Do not get new knowledge; (2) Unclear the content of science report; (3) Unable to arouse students' interest; (4) Unable to arouse students' discussion. Non-science college students have the self-reflective thinking and society-reflective thinking for global warming issue. They also propose their expectation of science news. Based on the above results, the study provides some suggestions to “PanSci” and “Taiwan Environmental Information Center” to strengthen their form and way of the perspective communication.
