In so many Lei Shu of Ming Dynasty, Chen Yao-Wen's 《Tian Zhong Ji》 was very important. Chen Yao-Wen was in famous erudite and good research. He an choose a better source in many books. He added some note in 《Tian Zhong Ji》 to point some errors of ancient books. 《Tian Zhong Ji》 was not perfect. It has some negligence on style and content.
The study is divided into eight chapters. Chapters1,“The Introduction,”discusses the research motivation, scope, and methods.
Chapters2,“Chen Yao-Wen and 《Tian Zhong Ji》”,Chen Yao-Wen's biography and books. The process of Writing 《Tian Zhong Ji》. The version of 《Tian Zhong Ji》.
Chapters3,“The situation of edit Lei Shu before 《Tian Zhong Ji》”,to probe the situation of edit Lei Shu before Ming Dynasty, and find out the influence.
Chapters4,“The editing of 《Tian Zhong Ji》”, the editing style and feature.
Chapters5,“The reference books of 《Tian Zhong Ji》”,the style of reference books and feature.
Chapters6,“The value of 《Tian Zhong Ji》”,to find the origin of something.
Chapters7,“The negligence of 《Tian Zhong Ji》”, contains the style and content.
Chapters8,The epilogue.
