Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 電機工程學系 === 104 === The thesis discusses the issues of quality of service (QoS) and robustness communication based on the automotive Ethernet audio video bridging (AVB) technology for advance driving assistance system (ADAS) and infotainment system. We use the OMNeT++ simulation platform to analyze the communication latency/jitter, and utilize the fault injection methodology to generate the various bit error rate (BER) on the communication link to validate the communication robustness of the system. A model of camera-based real-time and safety-critical ADAS based on automotive Ethernet AVB technology was created and simulated under the OMNeT++ platform to analyze the effect of the system related design parameters, such as payload size, packet sending rate and communication load, on the quality of service and reliability. We also carried out the fault injection experiment to observe the impact of payload size on the system’s packet error rate, error-detection capability, communication robustness and bandwidth utilization. To enhance the communication robustness, this study proposed a fault-tolerant mechanism by retransmitting the erroneous packets, and the results of retransmitting successful rate under various payload size and BER are provided.
