This study measures preschool children’s coordination, balance, muscular endurance, accuracy, softness, and explosive force through physical fitness tests. The tests include eight character hands and go, closing eyes with one leg standing, sit-ups, shooting, sit and reach, as well as the standing long jump. The purposes of this study are as follows. First, to design the innovative instructions of physical fitness activities and to find the differences between the two kinds of physical activities by the 24 young children that joined both activities. Second, to investigate the points of views on the innovative teaching of physical fitness and self-reflection by preschool teachers through interviews with teachers. Lastly, to provide specific recommendations to put into effect in the future. The research analysis results are as follows: 1) Implementing innovative teaching of young children’s fitness indeed can effectively enhance children's fitness abilities. Children receiving physical fitness innovative teaching had significant progress, except in the area of softness progress. 2) The action of young children’s physical fitness activities can help the students’ physical performance and teachers' professional development. By designing the innovative instructions of young children’s physical fitness activities, teachers can enhance their ability to plan curriculum and enhance the capacity of self-reflection.
