I-Chia is a director who leads the Gr troupe to rehearse their new drama called "Elope Before Dawn". He hired a new inexperienced actress as the key role for propaganda. But things doesn't getting better.
On the other hand, with the troupe from bad to worse, the marriage between I-Chia and Yu becomes precarious. Yu has some thoughts for leaving everything in her mind, including her husband I-Chia. Under the pressures, I-Chia must also face the dilemma of performance, and to take the opportunity to repair relations with his wife again.
“Whose Stage” adapted from a drama script in high school textbook names “Love missed the turning”. This movie created three-tier level structures in the screenplay and the roles, and also providing the new viewing experience by through the acting transformation from actors. There is the core idea of this film: ” between theater, movie even the reality, how is actors to find their own position”
This thesis is about the meaning and the making procedure of the short film, including five chapters.
In the first chapter, the author explains the motive and purpose of creating, trying to describes the relation between the film and herself. The second chapter is about the literature review, including performance theory and related movies. The following chapter is to develop the details of screenplay, shooting form, style tone of creation..The fourth chapter is talking into hole production details record. Include pre-production, shooting, post-production. The fifth chapter describes the public premiere, and the Final sixth chapter sums up the conclusion of the whole procedure.
