The automatic measurement platform includes functions such as automatic warm-up, measurement-data acquisition, measurement accuracy calculation, energy integration, efficiency calculation, and self-reporting. In addition, users could edit survey-requirement list for different needs and multi-condition in the platform. Usually, the efficiency measurement suffices to no specific requirements in labs. However, there indeed are some factors that might affect the efficiency measurement for switching power supplies, e.g. warm-up duration and ambient temperature. In this thesis, the measurement platform is conditioned to test the influence of ambient temperature, testing duration, and testing sequence.
