The power stage consists of a buck DC-DC converter and a full-bridge SRC DC-DC converter. The pre-stage buck converter is operated to achieve the proposed voltage adjustment and provide the input voltage for post-stage converter. The post-stage circuit is a full-bridge phase-shifted series resonant converter, which provides 1kW rated power and a wide-range output voltage from 40V to 6kV. A DSP chip TMS320F28035 developed by Texas Instruments is adopted for realizing digital controller. In this thesis, the operation principles and design considerations for a prototype system were analyzed and discussed.
