Compared with electronic voltage transformers, convential voltage transformers have the problems of size and core saturation. These disadvantages will affect stability and reliability of power systems. High voltage power equipment, insulation layers ocassionally have the problem of sustaining the high voltage during voltage division in convential voltage transformers.
