碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 運動健康與休閒學系碩士班 === 104 === The study is aimed to explore whether body image disturb affect body checking behavior or not and the relation in between body image disturb and body checking behavior within college students. The study has translated and rewrites the Body Checking Questionnaire to apply for college students in the nation that to understand current status and relation of body image disturb and body checking behavior in college students. Randomly sample 800 college students as participant from a university in Southern Taiwan and participant complete body image disturb questionnaire and body checking behavior questionnaire after sign consent. Analysis data with t test, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and one-way ANOVA. Result: Body Checking Questionnaire-Chinese version has great reliability and validity. The CFA shows that questionnaire has construct validity. Compare to male students, more female student feel unsatisfied body part do slight influence role performance. p value is .00 between body image disturb and body checking behavior and body image disturb and body checking behavior shows positive relationship. Conclusion: Body image disturb is highly relate to body checking behavior and people who have high body image disturb will trigger entire body checking behavior.
