| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 美術學系 === 104 === Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), the master of Vienna Secession master, was pleased with love, living, even life to be the theme of painting. In addition to the geometric, organic-shaped patterns with a variety of symbols, even with the rich and romantic colors in picture. The picture painted by Klimt is like a Byzantine mosaic mural, the color and the painted gloss of which showing both flashy and unique fantastic style, and which adds wealthy symbolic meaning of paintings.
In the end what is the relevance between Klimt’s decorative painting style, and the artistic slogan "Living art, Artistic life" advocated by "Secession"? The author in this thesis deeply explores how he practiced this slogan in painting, design, architecture, and interior design fields, and analyzes the paintings symbol he used and his performance techniques.
In addition, the author also analyzes the substance of self-created paintings, conventional brushes and symbols used in painting, and the meaning conveyed by symbols.
