This study attempts to TVBS make idols of the ‘The way you were’ as a research example, when Taiwan is in the media disadvantage. ‘The way you were’ is how the lack of resources in the Taiwan Idol drama to an international, cleverly used as a theory to put together resources to identify opportunities, make existing resources in new locations bring new benefits. Taiwan media disadvantages facing environmental constraints, which restrict Taiwan could have been played by resource constraints, writer-director running talent, a-list stars to leave Taiwan new generation artists but hard to head, multichannel led advertising dilute Taiwan market is too small. Taiwan disadvantage, this study proposes three types of opportunity identification: 1.
