Description
Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 104 === This study attempted to explore what factors affecting the performance of small and medium business (SMBs) by using the annual financial statements as the dependent variable. With a 12-year long participant observation, the researcher confirmed three influential factors with previous literature: 1. The managers' personal traits: --management style --communication skills --professional experience 2. The management strategy of sales including: developing new product, new business, and new planning. 3. The potential confrontation between a subsidiary company and its parent company. This study also explored a forth influential factor: 4. The government policy would affect the company’s business strategies. As these results were also confirmed with findings in different countries, it might provide some comparative considerations for building a worldwide theory on SMBs management.
