| Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 廣播電視電影學研究所(含碩專班) === 104 === “Intimate Relationship” is a short film originally developed from a personal experience of mine, which is about my ex-boyfriends and our threesome relationship. As I wrote down all the sorrow and heartbreak in the screenplay, trying to practice what I’ve learned from the New Queer Cinema, I found that it also shows my idea of love, my observation to the LGBT community and Taiwaness society, my opinion of affairs and open relationships, as well as LGBT films and moviemaking.
The following creation description explores my way of thinking during different creative process, with all kinds of questions like: Is it true that having affairs can overcome the dissappontment of monogamy? Is open relationship the answer to affair problems? What is an affair looks like in different sex orientation? How to describe the power structure among people in relationships in the movie? Are there other kinds of love or possibilities apart from our understanding of monogamy? These questions are elaborated throughout the short film, creating a different voice in addition to LGBT movement and the society today.
