The researcher will then include own experience as one of the subjects to compare. This study uses qualitative research to conduce in-depth interviews with caregiver leaders in 0 – 2-year-old children placement facilities. This study finds out that the work difficulties faced by caregiver leaders of placement facilities are directly affected by their own experiences in birth families, agency culture and caregivers’ seniority under their supervision. In addition, each agency has different definition of caregiver leader’s position leading to unclear job description and responsibilities and causes many conflicts at work, which challenges caregiver leader’s resilience and abilities to manage over and over again. At the end, a caregiver leader seems truly become a major housekeeper in an agency. At the end of this study, it is hoped to generate discussions and provide suggestions in practical work through understanding the work difficulties and division of responsibilities of caregiver leaders and clarifying its position’s identity and function. As a result, it is hoped to enhance work quality as well as cooperation experiences between teams of front-line caregiver leaders so caregiver leaders in 0 -2-year-old children placement can have their most effective contributions in their position.
