碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 金融系碩士班 === 104 === In addition to regular salary, elementary school teachers also benefit from pension granted by the government, children education subsidy, and tax redemption for teachers and military personnel, leading them not to pay extra attention to financial planning and to be regarded as the risk aversion group. In recent years, however, the deposit interest rate has remained low for a long time due to economic depression. Furthermore, continuous modifications of the pension system make elementary school teachers to face taxes, leading to potential inability to maintain the quality of life after retirement. The current study aimed to explore factors that affected financial planning among elementary school teachers after retirement, including attitude toward money, attitude toward retirement, and behaviors of financial management. The results suggested that attitude toward money and attitude toward retirement affected elementary school teachers’ behavior of financial management and final planning after retirement. Behavior of financial management also affected financial planning after retirement, and had a mediation effect in the relationship that attitude toward money and attitude toward retirement affected financial planning after retirement.
