However, under the influence of Chinese traditional concept and the thinking of being a dutiful wife and loving mother, women have to bear job stress in addition to the responsibility of family care and children upbringing. Therefore, under the double stresses of career and family, leisure participation is indispensable for modern women. Through leisure participation, women relief job stress and maintain healthy body and mind, raising life quality, and further, feeling a happy and well-being life. Accordingly, the researcher thought that the study on the relationships among leisure participation, job stress and well-being for career women is an important subject in modern society. Therefore, we chose career women in Fengshan district, Kaohsiung city as our object in this study, adopting questionnaire survey to realize the situation among career women’s leisure participation, job stress and well-being, analyzing the differences of these three variables under different backgrounds, and to research the relationships among the variables. The results of this study are as followings: 1. Career women in Fengshan district, Kaohsiung city laid particular stress on static style leisure participation, such as “medium”, “social intercourse” and “hobby”. “Job joading” and “tiredness” were the highest in job stress, and “interpersonal relationships” went the highest in well-being. 2. Variables under different backgrounds in leisure participation of career women in Fengshan district, Kaohsiung city: “education level” was the most significant;but the other different backgrounds showed partly significant. 3. Variables under different backgrounds in job stress of career women in Fengshan district, Kaohsiung city: only “marriage status” in the level of “anxiety” showed significant deviation. However,the other differenbackgroundsshowed no significant differences. 4. All variables under different backgrounds in well-being of career women in Fengshan district, Kaohsiung city appeared partly significant results. 5. It was found that in the relevant study on leisure participation, job stress and well-being of career women in Fengshan district, Kaohsiung city, “leisure participation” and “job stress” presented significant “negative correlation”; while leisure participation and well-being presented significant “positive correlation”.
