The Study of the Elementary School Teachers’ Considerations and Re-option Intention toward Outdoor Education in Leisure Farms - in Tainan City

碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系 === 104 === The study investigated the relationship among current situation of teachers using leisure farm for outdoor education in Tainan City, the considerations and the intention of re-option, and analyzed whether there is any significant difference in different background variables. This study utilized questionnaire survey with a total of 460 elementary school teachers in Tainan City and 415 questionnaires were received, which accounts for 90.2% of valid return rate. Descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple step-wise regression analysis were performed on the data analysis for the study. The results were summarized as follows: (1) 87.5 percent of elementary school teachers in Tainan City used to take students to leisure farms for outdoor education. (2) The degree of teachers’ considerations recognition is classified to high-intermediate level, especially the attention to "environmental facilities" is the highest. (3) The difference in "teaching grade" and "used to take students to leisure farms for outdoor education of not" will significantly cause the difference of teachers’ consideration. (4) The difference in "teaching grade," "used to been to leisure farms," and "used to take students to leisure farms for outdoor education or not" will significantly cause the difference of teachers’ intention of re-option. (5) The considerations will also significantly influence the intention of re-option with positive correlation. Keywords: Leisure farm, Outdoor education, Re-option intention
