Researcher used practical action research, observations, interviews, children’s work-performance, and assessment etc. to analyze the effect of field-trip on young children in terms of their likings of the location, cognition and behavior. This study was conducted by two semesters within two consecutive school years. Three off-campus field-trips were held in each semester consisting of one to four different visiting locations. According to the distances of each location, trips included a whole-day to a half-day trip with the support of school administration and fully cooperation and support of parents. The results obtained after induction and analysis are as the following: First, children like off-campus field-trip as a way of environmental education. Therefore, preschool teachers should acquire off-campus teaching and planning skills for environmental education programs, including site selection, activity planning, security maintenance, insurance and contacting preparations etc. Second, teachers should design off-campus field trip based on preferences, inner needs, interests and development characteristics of the majority of the children. Third, preschool children could clearly and cognitively express the locations and the programmed activities due to their hands-on experience, exploration, and operation of the novelty. Apparently off-campus curriculum is necessary to designe in dynamic operation, experience and exploration. Fourth, the selection of visiting locations should be diversified, including both eco-environment and institutions for children to learn and accumulate new experiences. Fifth, to increase early childhood environmental cognition, off-campus curriculums should be extended in classroom teaching to establish correct concept and awareness, to cultivate a good attitude to life, and to implement environmental protection and problem-solving skills and good behaviors. Of course, the same stride of family education as well as the school was recommended .
