Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士班 === 104 === In recent years, due to the changes of the population structure and lifestyle, social alienation, declining birthrate, aging, the cost of raising a pet being lower than that of bringing up a child, pets gradually become a member of the family in Taiwan. As the attitude to raise pets changes, quite a few pet owners are willing to invest in pets. The size of the pet market nowadays shows that its unlimited business opportunities. The wearable devices for pets have recently sprung up, so people are not familiar with the products and their functions and few buy them. And as the products have just come in the market and been developed, their prices are high and people take a wait-and-see attitude towards their stability and accuracy; thus buyers must make a careful assessment. The pet owners are still hesitant about purchasing new products. The study will make a discussion on people’s knowledge and acceptance of pet wearable devices, and then put forward an adapted module to make the new technology quickly introduced into the market. Based on the OODA loop theory, the study gathers pet owners’ expectations to the pet wearable devices through qualitative interviews with focus groups, and then makes an analysis of the results in inductive method, so as to find out the feasible business models of innovative products or services.
