Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院工業工程與管理EMBA專班 === 104 === This study consolidates and summarizes a supplier selection and assessment index that matches perfectly the attribute and nature of GPS industry, with the foundation of the 23 guidelines by Diskson (1996), the production management by Stevenson (1999), and the supplier selection guideline by Barbarosoglu and Yazgac. Suppliers are the key party in the study, with the assistance of AHP questionnaire, it is to seek for how each individual enterprise would rate such a supplier selection index. No vehicle manufacturer would survive without innovative technology, enhanced quality, expediting new product launch to become the market dominator.To stand as a superior player in the market, most would approach with expanded investment, while some market dominators evolve via significant techniques revolution. This study would assess and research the vehicle supplier management and selection index weighting by market survey and overall analysis, so as to determine which of those upon which Chinese vehicle manufacturers would place the focus. An anticipatory run through shows that cost, quality, technique innovation, and product competitiveness rules the coverage. In the light of Internet of Vehicle (IoV), Big Data, new battery technology, alertingcollision avoidance system, and auto-piloting technology, a whole new world is in sight, where high accuracy of GPS is to be expected.
