In this environment, enterprises focus more and more on cost control in order to survive, and material cost usually constructs the majority of the cost structure. Therefore to better manage procurement cost and suppliers is the key to cost control, and as the number of suppliers expands as business grows, many companies face the same issue. Experience tells that 20% of suppliers consume 80% of management efforts. With limited resources, one should focus on key factors, emphasize on them, and improve efficiency. If an organization implements excellent supplier management strategy, it can expect improvements in many aspects, especially profits and customer satisfaction, and thus to elevate the core competencies of the organization. This paper introduces the case study of consolidated procurement practices of an electronics device and peripherals enterprise group, in order to review an organizational structures revolutionary methodology in a competitive environment. On that basis, the paper provides the decision and implementation process of a successful integration. The paper reviews the current status of domestic and international suppliers selection integration, and the importance of the integrated management of suppliers, and then brief the status of company A group, its suppliers management status, issues, and problems. Based on the strategic theories of supplier management, company A group analyzes its supplier management processes, to identify main reasons which caused the problems. Based on the strategic SWOT analysis, company A group developed a methodology to integrate supplier management. Company A group changed some organization structure, strengthened it, and empowered the team, based on a Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). It established supplier evaluation standards, and elaborated on consolidating supplier selection. It implemented strategies in order for the company to effectively minimize risks associated with the re-organization. It improves the operation efficiency, and ultimately strengthened the competency of the company. The research results show that company A group implementing centralization of integrating suppliers has a remarkable improvement costdown 5% in the price, rejection rate reduce to 9.8% in quality and deliver status improve to 91%, compared with past data, which makes a significant progress and provides recommendations for future research directions.
