Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 有機高分子研究所 === 104 === UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is the average molecular weight of 1 million or more polyethylene (more than 10 times the normal polyethylene), its linear polyethylene molecular chain length is generally 10 times, it has excellent material properties, such as abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, self-lubricity, biocompatibility, etc., especially in low temperature impact resistance is excellent, so that this material is widely used in life. UHMWPE huge molecular weight also makes entanglement between molecular chains serious, molten viscosity of up to 108Pa * s, poor fluidity, it is difficult to use injection molding processing , most of the current use of compression molding or extrusion molding performed processing. We use high-density polyethylene good processability and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene were blend to improve the processability of UHMWPE, and then discusses other changes in the mechanical properties, the researchers found that as ultra high molecular weight polyethylene content increased, the impact resistance of the material has significantly improved. When the content of the ultra high molecular weight polyethylene is increase, the crystallinity is reduced. Explaining the impact resistance by morphology.
