Concepts and designs to clients can be challenging at times, especially when clients have a preconceived notion of what they think they need. Not knowing what they want, but knowing that they’ll “know it when they see it” is a typical answer that clients give to Designers. When clients don’t have a clear vision of what they want the designer cannot effectively do the job because of the confusion generated in all the process, leading to a waste of time and money. This is why is so important to create a tool where clients can participate in the design process eliminating client-designer misunderstandings.
The Design it Yourself Software acts as a guide for the direction of the client project. It works as both a project management tool and a communication directive. The client using the Design it Yourself Software in cooperation with the designer, creates the communication plan. By working together on the plan, the clients and the designer have an early opportunity to work out issues and clarify misunderstandings regarding direction.
Design It Yourself is a consumer 3D experience to imagine and manage the home environment. The software leverages applications to provide an immersive and interactive client-designer experience to transform home furnishing and interior decoration projects, visualize this transformation in realistic 3D environment and connect clients to designers, the home professionals.
